Hi, I’m Kris!

I’m originally from Minnesota and recently moved to Utah with my husband. As a former elementary educator, teaching has always been a big part of who I am and over time, that love of helping others grew into yoga and movement. I’m now a 200-hour certified yoga teacher and have completed 85 hours of specialized prenatal yoga training. When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my husband, our dog, and cooking.

Building Community in Cache Valley

I’m also relatively new to Cache Valley, and one of the things I’ve come to value most is finding genuine connection and community.

That’s a big part of what I hope to create through my classes, especially prenatal yoga. I want there to be a space where women can come to move and breathe, but also feel connected to other people going through a similar season of life.

My Teaching Style

I believe yoga should feel approachable rather than intimidating.

In my classes, you can expect thoughtful movement, clear instruction, options for different experience levels, and encouragement to listen to your own body. Some classes are slower and more grounding, while others are strong, sweaty, and energetic, but I want you to feel welcome wherever you are in your practice.

You don’t have to be flexible, experienced, or able to do every pose to belong in a yoga class, because yoga is for everyone.

Come Practice With Me

You can find me teaching throughout the week at Deeper Well Studios and Sol Speak Yoga in Logan, Utah.

If you’re expecting, I’d love to work with you one-on-one through a private prenatal yoga session or welcome you to my weekly prenatal yoga class.
